Meet our Team:
Haylee Magendans of Evie Black
Haylee has been assembling beautiful things with her hands since not long after she could walk and has been working with leather specifically for many years.
Starting out with leather aprons for a Melbourne cafe, menu holders and various other commissioned projects, she soon became known for her attention to detail and fine craftsmanship.
Haylee’s label Evie Black creates bespoke Leather handbags and is in the process of expanding into homewares and accessories. Expect to see plant hangers, laptop cases and some awesome collaborations with other local makers.
Daisy Cooper of Daisy Cooper Ceramics
Daisy recently moved from London, UK to Melbourne; setting up her new studio in East Brunswick, she has brought her individual style to the Australian ceramics scene.
Her work is hand built using traditional methods of pinching, coiling and slab building with clay. Each piece is carefully shaped and refined to create ergonomically pleasing vessels for the home.
Every collection is inspired by the wilderness and her work speaks of natures patterns and shapes, shown through her contrasting tactile exteriors and colourful interiors.
