About the Workshop:
Each session will consist of 3hrs of getting hands-on and involved with the materials. You will learn the basics of each medium and create a handcrafted piece you can take home with you to treasure. You can make a beautiful ceramic planter and a leather hanger to display it in or any number of other items.
The price includes all materials, use of tools and a delicious lunch served between sessions.
All sessions are suitable for beginners or those who have some previous knowledge but would like to explore further.
About The Teachers:
Ceramics – Run by Daisy Cooper of Daisy Cooper Ceramics
Get your hands messy and learn the basics of hand building with clay. Daisy will guide you through the skills needed to pinch, coil and slab build with clay. You will be able to add texture and colour to your pieces, with the option of glazing your work in Daisy’s signature colours.
You will create 2 smaller or 1 larger piece; these will be twice fired for you in Daisy’s studio and will be ready for collection Three weeks later.
Leather – Run by Haylee Magendans of Evie Black
Learn the basics of working and crafting with leather. Haylee will teach you step by step how to design, cut, construct using studs and brass hardware, and finish a unique plant holder, coin purse or wallet. You be will be able choose from a range of coloured leathers and hanger styles, or have a go at designing you own.
You will create 1-2 larger pieces or 3-4 smaller items such as chokers, earrings, key rings etc of your choosing .
